Bugs in build 37499

description

I downloaded this build, extracted to a folder, created an app in IIS and ran it. It wrote some files to the App_Data folder, then came up with a bare bones white page with no style.

Then I got the No Child Nodes bug. After debugging this, I changed a line of code in AccordianMenu.ascx.cs:

SiteMapNode node = SiteMap.Provider.FindSiteMapNode("~/administration/");

I added the ~ symbol, there and in another line farther down. Then the site showed the menu items without error. Still no theme or style though.

I tried to select a theme but it would not take.

There were various incorrect links on the page.

I'd really like to use this app and even contribute to it, but it needs to at least run first. I'll wait until the next build.

Coding tip: In the GetSiteMapLevel procedure, the variable output should be a StringBuilder instead of just a string. I can help optimize things like that once it is at least running.

I can confirm the exact same behaviour and already reported this at http://epscms.codeplex.com/WorkItem/View.aspx?WorkItemId=3942

For me also an interesting CMS on which i'm willing to contribute. In fact I already developed some extensions to the original MWPSK.
So if you can help to get this one up and running.....

Hello Geert, and thank you. I will change the line. But this doesn't doen't happen when you run the application from root. The default.browser located in App_Browsers is what's causes this. It maps all css files from root <link href=/style.css>

Please tell me what you can contribute with. Send me an email.
